Sometimes the stars align and opportunities arise that are fun, engaging, and utilize all of the tools I’ve accumulated throughout my career. In 2023/24 I had the chance to return to Nickelodeon to create motion graphics and animations for the “Nickmas” (Christmas Day) NFL game between the LV Raiders vs KC Chiefs, followed by February’s Super Bowl LVIII - Live From Bikini Bottom which was “slime-ulcast” for the first time ever on Nickelodeon between the Chiefs and 49ers.

Working alongside an incredible team that literally transformed the games into entirely new experiences, I focused on re-imagining the Super Bowl motion graphics and technical mechanics of Spongebob Squarepants-themed bamboo scoreboards and underwater field markers, as well as the classic “Best First Down Ever!” first-down-line exploding with magic and triumph. Also for both games, I worked live with the team during the broadcasts animating snowball fights, hamburger explosions, pirates, Santas, and of course SLIME to make the replays even more fun for the millions of people watching at home.

Outside the games I also worked with the team to promote the game leading up to kickoff for broadcast, social media, and even the massive jumbotrons of Times Square.
